Who's building Croft

Croft is made by me, Rich Chetwynd. I’ve spent most of my career building software - and, more to the point, building apps people actually use.

Years back I built Litmos, a learning platform that went on to serve over 20 million learners. Later I founded ThisData, a pioneer of the adaptive authentication and MFA movement - security that pays attention to who’s really signing in, and notices when something’s off. OneLogin acquired ThisData, and my time there put me right in the heart of single sign-on and enterprise-grade authentication.

That’s the part of Croft you’ll never see - and it’s exactly what makes it feel like magic. Adding your people, sharing an app, taking someone’s access away in a click: it just works, because the single sign-on layer underneath is built to the standard the world’s biggest security platforms hold themselves to.
